So many shows, so little time! Fortunately, Birdie makes it easy to decide your next binge through the power of personal recommendations. If you’re wondering what we’ve been watching this past month, look no further. We’ve summed up five of our favorite movies and series to stream this November.

Men in Black

With 90s fashion coming back around, it only makes sense to relive our nostalgia through some blockbusters of the decade. And what better option than Men in Black? This movie was packed with comedy, suspense, and a killer soundtrack. Will Smith brings the laughs every single time, with Tommy Lee Jones driving the adventurous storyline.

Available on Amazon Prime

If you liked Men in Black, make sure to check out Kickass.

Squid Game

We’re sure you’ve heard all the recent hype about Squid Game, and the rumors are true. This Netflix-produced series is incredible. Directed by filmmaker, Hwang Dong-hyuk, the Korean series bumped Bridgerton from the #1 spot quickly upon release. The high-stakes drama is both thrilling and thought-provoking, looking at themes of classism through a series of deadly children’s games.

Available on Netflix.

If you liked Squid Game, don’t forget to watch The Hunger Games.

Succession

If you haven’t kept up with Succession, it’s time to begin binge-watching. Produced by Will Ferrell, this dark comedy veers away from his trademark over-the-top slapstick, and features a more subtle, nuanced humor. If Squid Game is focusing on the poor and out-of-luck, Succession looks at wealth through the other lens. The Roy family vies for their father’s favor — and inheritance — in order to gain power, prestige, and the money tied to their billion dollar family business.

Available on HBO.

If you liked Succession, give Barry a try.

Dune

Calling all Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, and Jason Momoa fans! If you’re searching for a new film filled with A-list talent, then look no further than Dune. This drama is filled with action, suspense, and space travel. Timothee Chalamet leads this incredible cast as Paul Atreides, a young man with a gift that has the potential to save humanity. If you’re looking for a beautifully shot adventure through the universe, then Dune is a must for your next movie night.

Available in select theaters, and on HBO Max.
